March and April were busy for us! Our oldest turned 6, our youngest turned 1, we were blessed to have James' amazing cousin Lisa and her kids come visit, there was Easter, we went to a Trucks, Trucks, Trucks event, and toured the new LDS temple in Kansas City, Jared took his first steps, said his first word (Hi!), drank his first whole milk, and ate his first cake, we built a garden, and loved being together! Just to name a few of the happenings.
Nothing like bike rides and playing at the park with cousins!
A little girl who LOVES her daddy!
A little boy who LOVES his daddy!
Love this awesome family!
Mackenzie picked these flowers for her Grandma's!
One amazing lady!
We took cousins to Bonkers, an indoor playground.
This kid cracks me up!
Mikey got hurt and was sad, so Jay gave him a hug to help him feel better. It made me proud of his compassion because he wasn't the cause of Mikey's injury and he wasn't told to hug him.
Sad to see them go!
This outfit Jared is wearing at 11 months and it is snug on him.
The same outfit, Jay wore at 16 months and it was large on him.
We had the opportunity to go to an event called Trucks, Trucks, Trucks!. It was fantastic! There were 100's of vehicles of all types in this large lot that the kids could climb on and in and explore.
This was a bomb squad truck.
Tires larger than all three kids combined!
We got to see our awesome friends the Duffany's there. It made it a lot of fun.
A trash truck driver.
A mail deliverer.
Pretending to be dirt.
They thought it was hilarious to trade and be the driver and the dirt.
The crowning event of the whole evening. The fire truck!
Jared was not nearly as impressed as the other two!
